Certificate Authority

In its simplest form, a certificate authority (CA) consists of two files, a CA certificate, and an associated private key.

Defined Networking automatically creates several CAs for each Managed Nebula account, rotating them periodically. The CA certificates are distributed to, and trusted by, every host on the network. The CA private keys are not distributed, and are kept secure by Defined Networking.
